Coleen's new Christmas party hair!
Coleen left her lighter locks behind her especially for the WAGs Christmas party held by fashion designer Phillip Armstrong in Manchester on Wednesday night.
The party was also attended by Abbey Clancey, who has gorgeous blonde hair. But we do think her lips look much larger than usual these days!
We are sure the ladies had a fab time drinking cocktails and chatting about shopping and their husband's recent performances on the football pitch.
Here at Tie Towel, we love Mrs Rooney, and we really hope she keeps that fab new hair colour for a while.
If she needs to top up the colour at home, she should consider using Tie Towel, which will protect her clothes and skin, and give her that salon feeling she loves in the comfort of her very large home.

Janet Devlin - back to her roots?
At her first audition she wowed judges and fans with her unique voice and style:
She quickly coasted through further auditions to become one of the finalists. Already seeming to have that 'X Factor' voice, the show's producers were unconvinced if she had the X Factor style, and were quick to give her a rock chick look - by mixing a new flame hair colour with black grungy clothes:
But despite the show's efforts in trying to turn Janet into the full X Factor package, it seemed that this wasn't enough to give the pretty girl the X Factor in the eyes of the judges.
It was clear to people at home that Janet wasn't too comfortable with the X Factor way of doing things. And she didn't seem as happy as the others to be there.
Janet said X Factor often made her feel like a puppet, and says she is now looking forward to making her own music and doing things her way again.
Good for you Janet!
Here at Tie Towel, we are secretly hoping that she'll totally go back to her roots, and take her hair colour back with her - to her original, much lighter locks.
This week we'll be sending her a Tie Towel, and if she needs to change her hair colour at home, she's all set to do it without ruining her clothes or skin!
With her unique voice, we know we've not seen the last of this talented lady.

Marylin Monroe - The Ultimate Bottle Blonde
Previously known as Norma Jeane Baker, this lady was obsessed with fame and was incredibly charming. Norma worked hard to create the glamour puss Marilyn Monroe - a woman who loved attention from the media and men equally! She quickly became a talented Hollywood actress and her signature look was lots of red lipstick and that bottle-blonde hair.
Behind the scenes it seems that Marilyn was something of a lost soul for many years; her untimely death at just 36 years old is testament to this. But she paved the way for female glamour forever, and she was, and still is, one of the most talked about female icons that the showbiz world has ever produced.
Here at Tie Towel, we think she's stunning - especially that gorgeous blonde hair. One thing that makes us even more sad about Marilyn is the fact that she wasn't around to see the Tie Towel invention, which we know she would've loved.
Imagine how much easier Marilyn's life would've been if she'd had a Tie Towel to protect all of her lovely dresses and that beautiful pearly white skin when she was bleaching her hair. I think we can safely say she would've been a fan of it!

Rihanna puts sexy outfits and hair on hold for X Factor!
Rihanna was told by X Factor producers that she should tone down her look from the outfit she wore on last year's show, when she combined bright red locks with an oversexed outfit that makes a bikini look conservative:
This year she decided to take the advice of the X Factor producers a bit too far, and rocked on to the stage with an all covering school-girl-esq outfit, and her once red locks were muted to a safe brown colour with ringlets.
The cheeky lady has managed to get the whole country talking about her, and she even went as far as to write swear words on her flat chunky shoes, which meant the production team had to work harder to hide the expletives from the viewers at home:
We are sure that when Rihanna decides to leave her school girl look behind and dye her hair to a more adventurous colour again, whatever outfit she is wearing she will want to protect it from the harmful bleaches and tints that hair colourants contain.
So we think that she'd find Tie Towel very useful if she chooses to dye her barnet at home!

How to hair-do the jungle!
Here at Tie Towel, we are all loving the show, but on a professional level we are also feeling a bit worried about those jungle hair dos. If there are any celebrities in the jungle that frequently colour their hair, it's only a matter of time before we start to see their natural hair colour growing back.
First there is pretty Jessica Jane Clement. she looks like a natural brunette, but we could be wrong. Only time will tell!
We are less sure about the longevity of Chrissy Rock's blonde crop. We think she'll soon be wishing she had a bottle of bleach to hand to keep any darker roots at bay!
And then there is 80's glamour puss Stefanie Powers - she's famed for her bright red locks, but will her true colours start shining through as her jungle stay moves along?
It's a real shame the jungle lot were'nt allowed to bring hair dye into the jungle. Not only would this stop any embarrassing hair do malfunctions, it would also give the celebs something else to do to pass the time. And if the celebrities used a Tie Towel when dying their own hair, this would protect their skin and clothes from the bleach and tints!

All the leaves are brown, but my hair is....
If you are blonde, why not go for some darker highlights to match the season like Sienna Miller? She also goes for centre parting with an overall distressed look for her autumn hairstyle. Very on trend!
One of the UK's most famous red haired ladies is Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts. Her signature auburn locks compliment her pale skin tones. She rocks the English rose autumn look perfectly:
And from across the pond, a lady who has no qualms about changing her hair colour is Emma Stone. Often papped with long auburn locks, she has also tried brunette with a cute fringe, to keep her forehead warmer as we get into the winter months...
Dying your hair at home can be pretty stressful. But if you want to take the stress and the mess away, use a Tie Towel. It makes dying your hair feel like the beauty treatment it should be, not the chore it can sometimes feel like!

Colours of Movember
The site of all these moustashes in Movember raises awareness by prompting conversations around the often ignored issue of men's health. Mo Bros can proudly cultivate a moustashe of any colour or style during this time to get involved and raise some cash!
Here at Tie Towel, we thought we'd take inspiration from some famous faces and suggest a few Movember styles that those Movember fellows out there might like to go for. And why not be a bit different from the rest and dye that tash!
One of the most distinctive tashes in the comedy world at the moment is Keith Lemmon's big bushy ginger moustashe:
Professional Wrestler Hulk Hogan's moustashe is about as famous as the man himself - his horseshoe moustashe is bright white. An interesting colour to try for the more experimental Movember man?
If Movember guys are feeling particularly daring, they could take a leaf out of Billy Connolly's book and get that tash dyed bright pink!
When dying your tash, dont forget the hair on your face is coarser than that on your head, so you might need to leave the dye on longer! And dont forget to use Tie Towel to protect your clothes. It repels bleach and tints and wont ever stain. Perfect for all your hair colouring requirements!

Lydia Bright from TOWIE's vintage party attracts some new hair colours and styles in Essex!
The TOWIE crew went to town recently with outfits and hair styles when one of the leading Essex girls Lydia Bright threw a vintage themed party to open her vintage fashion shop in Loughton, Essex.
Lydia and her mum chose ringlet styled hair to compliment their striking blue vintage fashion dresses. The ringlets in Lydia's hair particularly showed off her newly muted blonde tones, a much more subtle tone for the autumn season!
Dieter Gemma Collins wore a flatting back lace dress, which complimented her recent weight loss. She has also gone back to her blonde roots in time for Lydia's vintage bash, leaving brunette Gemma behind for good may be?!
Raven haired beauty Lucy Mecklenburgh teased the front section of her long dark locks into a bouffant style, and looked stunning in a fitted black vintage-esq dress and short fur coat.
To imitate any of these hair colours at home, when colouring your hair, using Tie Towel can protect your skin and your clothes as it repels bleach and tints and wont stain. Tie Towel can be used again and again, and the adjustable toggle means it fits snugly 'round the neck. Nothing less than professional!

Celebrities dye their hair for Halloween!
This year, Halloween has encouraged some very impressive fancy dress efforts from the world's celebrities. From A to Z list, these famous faces have really pulled out the stops to create their frightening Halloween looks, with their hairdo's being an essential part of this!
Songstress Rhianna went for a raven hair do to compliment her blue and black striped Halloween costume this year...
Rock chick Gwen Stafani chose a Toy Story costume complete with orange plaited bunches for a cute girly take on Toy Story's leading character 'Woody'.
Reality star Kim Kardashian went for a more sexy, vampy look – completing it with a mass of fiery red hair as part of her Halloween look this year.
If you want to re-create any of these celebrity looks at home, make your hair dying experience totally stress free by using Tie Towel. Tie Towel will protect your outfit while you colour your hair because it’s embedded with special stain resistors that repel bleach and tints.
Tie Towel can be washed and used over and over again to protect your clothes when dying hair. For a fright-free time make sure you use Tie Towel!

X FACTOR FINALIST MAKEOVERS...GET THE LOOK WITH TIE TOWEL
The finalists were selected, the judges were ready, the songs had been chosen and the makeovers were complete….Saturday night was X Factor time. This weekend saw the return of the live shows to our screens, with the final 16 ready to battle it out and with the new judges determined to impress.
Now, I know the X Factor is all about the music, but for me one of the best parts is the finalist makeovers. On Saturday night the contestants took to the stage, styled and groomed to within an inch of their lives and working their new looks. The question is…who looked the best?
It’s a tough one because they all looked so very different, and that’s down to one thing: hair colour. It seems they had all been hitting the hair dye to go from drab to fab in an instant, and it worked! Just look at Janet Devlin, who was transformed with a flame-haired make over. It’s not an easy look to pull off but Janet had it down to a tee, teaming her new hair with her vintage, indie style to match that quirky voice of hers.
I’ve always thought she’d look amazing if she stuck to her roots and went for a funky gothic look, a la Florence Welch, and she didn’t disappoint. On Saturday night she was flaunting her new look in a cream lace number, and Sunday night’s results show saw her working a ‘Florence’ inspired dress of black, lace and big sleeves.
It wasn’t just Janet who had been hitting the (hair dye) bottle to complete their makeover. Amelia Lily, the Christina Aguilera of the competition, took her locks from platinum white to a rosy pink ahead of the live shows on Saturday.
I thought it was a great idea for Amelia to go down the pink route; she’s always stood out in the auditions for having her own style. It’s just a shame that we won’t see her funky sense of style again on the shows.
Feisty girl group Rhythmix were flaunting different colours and styles too. They had a mix of platinum blondes, honey and caramel extensions, and that ever-famous Rihanna red.
So, X Factor was all about the hair colour this weekend, and thankfully the enormous selection of hair dyes available in the stores makes it easy for us to stay on trend and rock these colourful celeb looks at home. There are some great accessories out there too that make the whole hair dying process ten times easier, and with very little mess. Enter the Tie Towel!
The Tie Towel is a brilliant investment for anyone who is a fan of colouring their own hair; it’s the perfect home hair colouring towel that drapes over your shoulders, with a toggle that you can pull up at the front to keep your clothes and neck from getting a colour change too.
It’s bleach and tint resistant and machine washable, so there are no more towels ruined when you fancy a hair change. It’s a must have for any hair obsessive. The Tie Towel is available at Boots and Superdrug now for just £9.99.
I hope you enjoyed watching the X Factor as much as I did. Roll on next weekend so that we can take in the styles and transformations once again as they’re sure to be the must have looks for winter 2012, and I haven’t even started on the judges yet….
